VENTUS I GMT British Racing Green (BRG)
AC19-01.AG.70
British Racing Green or BRG takes its name from the green international motor racing colour of the United Kingdom. This originated with the 1903 Gordon Bennet Cup, held in Ireland (then still part of the UK), as motor- racing on public roads was illegal in Great Britain. As a mark of respect, the British cars were painted shamrock green.
This timepiece was also influenced by the streamlined design of the automotive bodies from the 1930s, which were built so that they had air resistance as little as possible in order to achieve maximum speed. These icons inspired the design of the Ventus 4 Nations.
